We are dedicated to producing the highest quality music that relaxes, inspires, heals and uplifts the spirit. Our first line
of nature and music recordings was created after a life-changing
trip to the heart of a Costa Rican rain forest, by our founder John
Grout. A musician and composer for over 35 years, it was there
that he first realized his purpose and dream of healing through music
and nature.
Since then he has traveled extensively, exploring, creating and
discovering different cultures and music of the world. This has evolved the Naturescapes Music catalogue into an extensive collection including jazz, classical, world, wellness and cool chillout styles.
Most compositions are performed on acoustic instruments and include a
wide variety of musical styles. Our musical staff of composers,
arrangers, musicians and producers combine over 50 years of experience
in the music business and have toured, played or recorded with some of
the greatest musical legends of our time, including Henry Mancini,
Johnny Mathis, Tina Turner, Dionne Warwick, Natalie Cole and John
Williams.
